MODELRIGHT 3.0 EXPANDS ITS
ARRAY OF FEATURES FOR DATABASE DESIGNERS
Some of the more
important enhancements to the product include:
Reverse engineer into model: Quickly and easily add database objects
to an existing model. This feature allows for a mass import of tables from another
schema or a tablespace.
Generate change script: While Modelright has always provided a
Compare with Database
wizard to let you synchronize your model with the database, the
software now offers the ability to generate SQL DDL based on model changes without
going through the Compare with Database process.
Used by property page: See at a glance how reusable objects,
including schemas, tablespaces and domains are being used.
Improved print dialog: You can now select specific pages to
print and the scale the model to better fit the paper.
Auto-naming options: Modelright 3.0 can auto-generate more
meaningful default names for primary key and unique key constraints, foreign
key constraints and check constraints.
