Table Display Options

Most of the options in this tab are self-explanatory and demonstrate themselves when clicked.  Some of the more commonly used options are also provided at the top of the context menu that appears if you right click on the background of a Diagram.

This screenshot shows the Property Browser's Display tab when a Diagram is selected and the Display Type is set to Table.

Display Type  - the contents of this tab is based on the type of object that is selected in the Display Type combo box.  You can switch between editing Table, View, Materialized View, and Relation display options.

Display Table/Views - this option can be used to toggle the display of a whole class of objects.  i.e. you could choose to temporarily not display any Views - even though they are contained in the Model Subset.  If you switch the Display Type to Relation, you will see a similar option, called Display Relations, for toggling the display of the four different types of relations that ModelRight displays, Table, View, Select From, and REF Relations.

Display Categories - the Categories option at the bottom of the page lets you display things besides Columns in your Diagram's Tables/Views.   You can actually display any kind of object that a Table/View owns.  i.e. if you added Relation to the Displayed Categories, then ModelRight would display any Relations that the Table owns along with the Table's Columns.  You can also reorder the displayed categories.  i.e. you could display Relations before Columns.    In the case of Relations, having this option would be useful if you want to display all of a Table's Relations even if they aren't displayed in the Model Subset (perhaps because the Relation's parent Table/View isn't in the Model Subset).

Default Table Graphics

Some display properties of a Relation are controlled by the Diagram.  Others are controlled by the Table Graphics objects - as described under Table Display Options.  This hyperlink is provided so that you can conveniently jump to the Default Table Graphics object - which can be used to set properties that affect the display of all Tables in all Diagrams,
